New York Times Answers Critics

Thursday, June 29th, 2006

The editorial is here.

I don’t agree with the NYT that the Swift program had anything to do with the expanding power of the executive branch. I don’t see how this program affected the civil liberties of Americans, either.

They write that they are worried about “an extraordinarily powerful executive branch, exempt from the normal checks and balances of our system of government.”

Meanwhile, Rep. Peter King (R-NY) has called the NYT traitors.

Deroy Murdock over at Natonial Review opines here, saying “the New York Times should adopt a new slogan: “All the treason that’s fit to print.”

Flag Amendment Defeated

Tuesday, June 27th, 2006

The Senate rightfully rejected a constitutional amendment to ban desecration of the flag. Clearly the first amendment to the constitution protects political speech such as this.

The FreedomWorks Day went well in North Carolina. Professor Mike Adams gave a wonderful talk, and our members stormed the state capitol and lobbied on taxes, education, property rights and toll roads.

Pictures will be posted on FreedomWorks.org later this week.

I’ll be in Raleigh, North Carolina Monday and Tuesday

Sunday, June 25th, 2006

This week, FreedomWorks North Carolina is hosting its annual Day at the Capitol. I will be handing out awards to our best activists. North Carolina is one of the strongest chapters of FreedomWorks in the country.

Should be a fun time. Mike Adams, TownHall.com columnist and Professor at UNC-Wilmington, is the keynote speaker. Allen Page, our state director, is organizing the event.

If you are in the Raleigh area, check out the schedule of events here.

Chemical Weapons Found in Iraq

Thursday, June 22nd, 2006

The Fox News story is here.

The Washington Post reported the story too.

2nd edition of my book

Tuesday, June 20th, 2006

I have begun to edit my book for a 2nd edition. Hopefully I will complete this task within the next month or so.

Ideally, it would be ready for publication this fall as upper classmen return to school, and freshmen enter the labyrinth of Leftist academia.

Protest Warrior Videos Finally Online!

Wednesday, June 14th, 2006

I am going to be posting new videos over the next week.

Check out the first one. (Sep. 24, 2005 in Washington, D.C.)

The second one is from San Diego (March, 24 2005).

The third is from Washington, D.C. in early 2006.

This is from my debate at Cal-State San Bernardino.

Iraq War Debate in Congress

Wednesday, June 14th, 2006

Same old song from the idea-less Democrats in Congress. Tune in to C-Span to hear the D’s cry, “Bush lied, people died.”

Maybe they will trot out fat blowhard Michael Moore to provide “expert evidence.”

Imagine if the D’s were this wimpy during WW2. Where has the patriotic party of Truman, FDR and Scoop Jackson gone?

Watch the video from my debate on Iran!

Sunday, June 11th, 2006

Here is a link to the video clips. Start with “Iran debate clip one.”

I will be adding some video from Ryan Sorba’s discussion of homosexuality later this week.

Stop Hillary from Neutering the Internet!

Wednesday, June 7th, 2006

Here is our new website, where we parody “net neutrality” as “net neutering.”

It features Hillary Clinton neutering a pet, just as she is trying to neuter the internet.

This Week’s Happenings…

Sunday, June 4th, 2006

The Senate is voting on the Marriage Amendment.

Hopefully they will repeal the death tax this week.

I will be in California later in the week. On Thursday I am debating American foreign policy toward Iran at California State University in San Bernardino.

On Friday I am headed to L.A. to meet with FreedomWorks activists and have dinner with my sister and Mom.

On Saturday I will head to San Diego and attend ISI’s symposium on “The Classical Spirit.”

Saturday night I will be meeting with FreedomWorks activists and our California field coordinator, Matt Schumsky.
