Did “peace” groups give aide and comfort to terrorists in Iraq?

Monday, July 16th, 2007

Author and Colonel Robert “Buzz” Patterson says that they did.

Read this story about his new book, which claims the “peace” groups Code Pink and United for Peace and Justice gave $600,000 to terrorists in Iraq who were killing Marines.

If this is true, these organizations have gone beyond dissent and have committed treason.

Code Pink and Medea Benjamin get great PR from Washington Post

Sunday, June 10th, 2007

This article in today’s Post is a good example of how the media often refuses to look into certain groups that it agrees with.

Medea Benjamin and Code Pink received favorable coverage with not a word about their ties to communist dictator Hugo Chavez or their own far-left agenda.

For more information about Code Pink, CLICK HERE. This is not just a group of sweet old ladies for peace, but rather a socialist organization that shills for Fidel Castro and the Iraqi insurgency.

Iran’s war against the U.S. in Iraq

Monday, May 21st, 2007

The Guardian newspaper reports that Iran is working with al Qaeda to force the U.S. to retreat from Iraq.

Once again, notice how our enemies are relying on the Democrats in Congress to break our will to win the war.

Iran is secretly forging ties with al-Qaida elements and Sunni Arab militias in Iraq in preparation for a summer showdown with coalition forces intended to tip a wavering US Congress into voting for full military withdrawal, US officials say.

Larry Kudlow on Iraq, al Qaeda and Joe Lieberman

Sunday, April 29th, 2007

Larry Kudlow has a great piece out in National Review Online.

Our last best hope in Iraq — General David Petraeus — reminded Pentagon reporters this week of a critically important fact long forgotten by most observers: Our real enemy in Iraq, the true source of all the murders, mayhem, and instability, is not sectarian strife. And it’s not the Sunnis or the Shiites either. The real enemy we face in Iraq is al Qaeda.

According to the top American commander in Iraq, al Qaeda’s number one priority is defeating the United States in Iraq. The general called this organization “public enemy number one,” adding that “Iraq is, in fact, the central front of al Qaeda’s global campaign.”
Without question, it is a near certainty that Iran and Syria are helping al Qaeda with money, arms, and explosives. And yes, if we leave now, al Qaeda will have an open field in which to expand their operations and prepare for the ultimate attack on the United States. In fact, the Defense Department and the CIA just nabbed a high-ranking al Qaeda operative known as al-Iraqi. He was a key link between the Taliban in Afghanistan, al Qaeda in Iraq, and al Qaeda members in Iran. And while it’s great news we got him, he’s one more reminder that this network is strong and playing for keeps.

Protesting the Protestors in DC

Get ready for another day of anti-Communist protesting on March 17th at the Pentagon. Workers World Party front group International ANSWER is organizing another massive anti-capitalist, anti-US and anti-war march for the fourth anniversary of the Iraq War.

While many conservatives may disagree with our war policy, we should all stand up to the radicals in our midst, and expose them for the fifth column that they truly are. Stay tuned for details of this latest Protest Warrior counter-protest operation.

In the meantime, watch Congressman Ron Paul’s comments on the war from earlier today. Interesting perspective that differs from most Republicans.

al Sadr flees Iraq… Proof that surge will work?

Tuesday, February 13th, 2007

According to Fox News, radical cleric Moqtada al Sadr has reportedly fled from Baghdad to Iran. Bloggers are citing this as proof that he is fleeing for his life before the troop reinforcements arrive in Baghdad.

If true, this might make the Democrats look really silly given their opposition to the troop surge. Just as they are offering their non-binding resolutions in the Congress, events might be changing the terms of the debate.

Captain’s Quarters is covering the story here.

Deal reached with North Korea

Tuesday, February 13th, 2007

The Washington Post has the story.

I, for one, don’t trust the evil regime in Pyongyang. But at least we are “giving peace a chance.” If diplomacy works, great. But even if it doesn’t, the Left will still blame President Bush.

Lil Kim broke his promise once before. Let’s not make the same mistake twice. Trust, but verify.

When “Peace” Protestors Attack

Tuesday, January 30th, 2007

My friends at ACSU have taken great footage of this past weekend’s “anti-war” march. Note the assortment of communists, socialists and anarchists who made up the leadership of the march in D.C.

Here is the video.

Senator John Cornyn authors resolution in support of troops

Tuesday, January 30th, 2007

Despite the political point-scoring and piling on President Bush regarding his troop surge policy, one Senator is standing strong in support of the troops and of the President. I am not sure whether the surge policy will work, but I admire Sen. Cornyn’s strong statesman-like position on this politically unpopular war.

I am working to get the text of the resolution from his staff and will post it as soon as I get it.
If you support Sen. Cornyn’s resolution, which will likely be debated in the Senate next week, please contact his office and let him know. Also, contact other Senators and tell them to vote for his resolution. You can find their contact information by visiting www.senate.gov

An American Muslim speaks out against Islamists

Monday, January 29th, 2007

Here is a great piece by M. Zuhdi Jasser, a courageous Muslim leader who is trying to encourage Muslim Americans to take a stand against Islamists.

He writes,

“the public face of American Muslim activity against terror — and the against the ideology that feeds it — has so far been inadequate. Other than press-release condemnations, there has been virtually no palpable public effort from the greater Muslim community in this regard.”
